Today we are going to discuss your response's to Dave Barry's "The Ugly Truth about Beauty" and look at an introduction to writing a précis.
We'll also read "How to Mark A Book", which can be found here.
In a group of 3, you'll read "I Want A Wife" on page 100 of 100 Great Essays and together write a précis. If we have time we'll read this out loud.
HW: Read chapter 1 of The Language of Composition.
